The course is a training in the Criminology area, that is to say, criminal phenomenon causes, their extension and preventive aspects, crime treatment and criminals.
The course is aimed to train criminologists, lawyers, sociologists, psychologists, workers and social educators and any student of these disciplines, officials of the Administration of Justice, of Penitentiary Institutions, members of the State Security Forces and any other person interested from an empirical criminologist approach.
To distinguish theorical, practice and methodological aspects and remain aware about the complex criminal pheomenon. Focus on an unique and exclusive empirical criminology perspective away from other sociological, psychological and criminal law.
The course uses the methods of distance learning. It is mainly online, but there are two face-to-face meetings (it is not obligatory to attend any of them, although it is highly recommended) , as well as some seminar and extraordinary assistance workshop volunteer and face-to-face tutoring, by telephone, by ordinary mail, fax and e-mail.

Students who wish to enrol in any Postgraduate Program course without meeting the access requirements may do so although, in the case of a successfully completed the program, they will not be entitled to their Own Title, but to a Certificate of achievement. (University Expert Diploma)
